The Little Boy Ghost- Aarna Gupta
The Little
Boy Ghost
Once upon a time, in a small house, there lived a
family of four- mother, father and their two children. One day when the daughter
was coming out of her room to have dinner with her parents and brother, she saw
that the swing in their garden was moving. She immediately ran to her parents
to tell them what had happened, but they did not quite believe her. The
following night the same thing happened with her brother.
Again, the next day when the whole family was
sitting and having dinner, they saw that a book was flying in the air. So, the
parents went to the kids’ room to find out what was happening. The kids
followed their parents and tiptoed towards their room.
To their surprise, they saw that a pencil was
moving on its own. They were very scared and hid under the table to see who was
doing this.
After a while, they saw a little boy ghost was studying
and writing on the children’s books. The father finally mustered up the courage
to speak to the ghost. He asked, “Who are you and what are you doing here?” The
boy replied “I am here to study because one day a witch cast a spell on me as a
result of which I had to leave my parents and become a ghost. The witch also
said that if I had to come out of this spell then I must be touched by the
person whose books I was using.’
The children felt sad for the little boy. The
father further said, “But why did you select our house?” The boy ghost said, “My
parents’ home is opposite to yours so it was an easy choice for me. Will you
please ask your kids to touch me so that I can go back to my parents and lead a
happy life?”
So, the children came out from under the table and
touched him. Within no time, he became a human being. Then, they all became
friends and lived happily ever after.
