Up there, high in the sky

Lies something we can see through our window

But what is it if it doesn’t fly?

Well of course, it’s a rainbow!


But a rainbow comes with a companion

One brings joy, while the other usually brings sorrow

They arrive with such fashion!

Ah those two, they are rain and rainbow!


The rainbow looks like a burst of colours

Almost like it’s been dipped in dye!

One thing no one wants to do with a rainbow,

Is say goodbye!
