Journey to the world - Ch. 1 - Mysterious lady - By Adrija Sahoo

I was returning home from school when suddenly somebody came to me and said, ‘Will you do me a favour young lady?’

She was kind of a spooky lady so with a scared demeanor, I said, ‘Yes, of course.  What do you wish me to do?’

She said, ‘I am searching for a buried treasure.  Can you kindly help me find it.  You can have 50 percent of the share.’

I said, ‘I am just a little girl.  How can I help you find it?’

She said, ‘Can your parents help me find it too?’

After thinking over it, I said, ‘Ok … but only if my parents are ok with it and now if it’s alright with you, I have to leave as my mother must be worried.’

When I was about to leave, she screamed out loud, ‘Ok!  Don’t forget to talk to your parents and if they say yes, then tell them to meet me here.’

I left the place and decided to talk to my parents about it.
