A Nightmare - By Adrija Sahoo

I was walking through the street at around 12:00 midnight when I saw something approaching me. I stepped behind a staircase but it was coming nearer and nearer. 

It was a bit small.  It had ears at the top of its head and I noticed its spiked collar.  I suddenly knew that it was a bull dog.  I thought that it will have its master with it but I was wrong.  It kept coming towards me.

After going four to five steps forward, it started running towards me.  Seeing that no one was accompanying the dog, I started screaming and running.  I kept running but reached a dead end.  The dog jumped on me as I screamed and shouted for help.

It was then that I woke up from my slumber and realised that I was dreaming.
