One day a dad went up to his child and told him that he would narrate a scary story to him  but the child refused but his dad convinced him and started narrating a story.

He said, “This story is about a child, named William, who played a lot of video games. Most of the time he plays a game named ‘Granny’. It is a horror game.

The child said, “But I play that game. I love it.”

The dad replied, “Let me complete the story first.

He continued… “On the day William’s brother was born, he was very happy. He started playing online games with his friends. While playing, someone sent him a message in the game chat.

It was written – ‘Hi!  You play very well.  Tell me your address.’

William replied – Ok. Let me give it to you. He gave his address to this person.

The child shouted, “No he shouldn’t have done that.

The dad replied by saying “Yes!” He continued… “William realized that what he had done was wrong. That night he told this to his parents. They were upset with him. Later that night when he went to bed, he heard a screaming noise. He woke up quickly to see his parents dead.”

“He started crying. A man entered the room and said “Do you know me?” 

“The child knew that it was the person to whom he had given the address. The man killed William too. The man took his newly born baby brother and raised him as his very own child.”

The dad looked at his child and said, “And guess the name the man gave to the baby brother? WILLIAM!

The child was instantly frightened and said “Dad, but my name is William too!”

The dad laughed and told William not to worry.
