Horror Horror!!! - By Ryan Banerjee

This story is about three young girls named Joana, Meg and Beth. One day they started narrating horror stories at midnight. Joana was scared and ran towards her room. The others laughed. But it was the biggest mistake they had ever made. The continued narrating stories when suddenly the radio came on. They were not spooked as they thought that maybe there was some problem with the radio. Suddenly the T.V was switched on. This time they were a bit spooked but ignored it. Then Joana came running down and was very scared. “What happened” said Beth. “Th.. There is so.. someone under my bed”. All the girls were frightened. Meg noticed a weird person lurking around. Meg called out in a shaky voice “Hey get out!” The person did not answer but disappeared. The person was soon behind her. Beth noticed this and told Meg “Watch Out!” Joana fainted and Meg turned around and saw the person there. He looked black and had blood all over his teeth and his eyes were as white as milk. He s...

A Story on Ghosts - By Chirayush Chowdhury

John and Bobby were ghost hunters .They were in search of Bloody Mary and the Smiling Woman.   They went to a haunted house and waited until 3 a.m. and then started their work. They went to the basement when suddenly Bobby   said, “Don’t   look at the   train passing by!” They saw two women.   One’s face had blood all over while the other one was smiling and her mouth was filled with blood. They were about to attack when the light of sun made them go away and the spirit went into a bottle nearby. It was a magical bottle and the spirit could only go into a black bottle. On the second day, the two men again waited at the same time. After all that had happened to them the other day, they understood one thing, i.e; the spirit would play with them first and then attack them. So they thought of setting a trap and playing with the spirit with their high-tech guns and pistols. They wore their high tech suits and helmets. They took two black bottles with a...

The Werewolf - By Ryan Banerjee

Hi! Let me tell you a folk lore which occurred a long time ago. Two ghost hunters, Bobby and John went to an abandoned house. They both explored that place. While they were doing this,   they heard strange sounds. They proceeded towards the direction of the sound. There was nothing there. They had shotguns and pistols in their hands. Suddenly Bobby fell down and was dragged to the cabinet. John called out “Bobby and went looking him. He reached the cabinet, frightened. He opened the door pointing the gun at the cabinet. He saw Bobby there. Bobby suddenly woke up and they continued on their exploration. A minute later Bobby disappeared into thin air and reappeared. Suddenly Bobby started acting weird and turned into a Werewolf. John shot it but nothing happened. He kept shooting until he arrived t a stalemate. He was frightened.   The Werewolf grabbed his neck tightly and lifted him. He was almost about to die when a knife came out of nowhere and stabbed the shapeshifte...

My First Day of School at BHSM - By Ryan Banerjee

On my first day at BHSM I was feeling very nervous. My mother told me not to worry. I sat on the bus and was surprised to see all the children. It was the first time I rode on a school bus. I reached school and the school staff showed me the way to my class. I was seven years old. Feeling excited, I followed the ramp to the class. Our teacher was very kind so she let us sit anywhere we wanted to. I sat comfortably and the class started. First our teacher asked us to introduce ourselves and we did. Our teacher was very glad. Then she started with our very first subject in this school. Our minds were full of doubts. We had so many queries so we asked our teacher so many questions.   She answered all of them one by one. After that we had our short break where we ate our fruits. Then we continued to have other classes. We met many new teachers.   When the long break arrived, we ate our food and made new friends. The next day when we came to school, we had our P.E. class. I...

Life Before and After Corona - By Ryan Banerjee

The day when Corona started, we all were taking it lightly and thought that it would end in a month or two but after a few weeks the virus started infecting more and more people. Corona is a worldwide virus. It started from China. I was very angry during the lock-down as I could not go out of my house to enjoy or to attend classes but the advantage is that there is very less pollution. I also started enjoying staying at home. I never thought that this virus would stay for such a long time. Suddenly people started dying due to it. Many celebrities too. But I still thought it would end but it didn’t. I stayed at home for a month and then I lost all my patience and wanted to go out so much that I almost cried. But crying will not change anything. I also wanted to go school, not only me but all my friends too. We started having online classes. I enjoyed them and also met my friends after a long time but our class was only for an hour. We also did not have any contests, shows etc. But t...

My Puja Celebration - By Ryan Banerjee

The pandemic has changed the way we celebrate festivals. Avoiding large gatherings, wearing masks and maintaining social distancing is a must to avoid getting infected with coronavirus. So the very essence of celebration is lost but we did not let the pandemic deter our festive spirits. This year the Durga Puja celebration was also very different but by now we are somewhat accustomed to the new normal way of life. Many popular pandals had restricted and blocked the entry and instead put up giant screens outside, where we could see the idol of Goddess Durga and the interior of the pandal.   I along with my parents went to the less popular pandals which had no crowd and prayed to Goddess Durga there. We mostly stayed inside the car and enjoyed the view of the pandals from the road and also the lit up streets. But I could not meet my extended family and was feeling rather sad.   So to compensate for this, my parents t...

Mukundapur Kolkata 11 th October 2020 Dear Santa How are you? I hope you are keeping in good health. I am fine and doing well. I am writing this letter to invite you for Christmas. Mr. Santa Claus, the winter season is ringing bells for your arrival. I am ready with my Christmas tree which I will decorate with lights, bells, stars, empty gift boxes and socks. Please fill them with new gifts and toffees for us. Also, make the world Corona-free in the coming New Year. My last wish is that when I wake up on Christmas Eve, fill the roads and houses with snow so that I can make a snowman and play with snow-balls along with my brother. Take my love and come soon. Your loving child Budhil
